Welcome to Homecoming
and Family Weekend! |
We are very excited this year about Homecoming and Family Weekend 2007. The UOAA has partnered with many departments and schools on campus, including the Office of Student Life and the new student membership organization The Flight, to offer a variety of events to our students and alumni.
There are tours of the new Lorry I. Lokey Laboratories, the 20th Anniversary of the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, the Mills International Center Grand Opening, the return of the Pep Rally, the official UO Pre-func Tailgate Party prior to the Oregon vs. WSU football game and much, much more!

Underground Science:
The Lorry I. Lokey Laboratories |
| Tours will be available during Homecoming week prior to the official October 15 opening
Located 19 feet below ground level, the University of Oregon’s Lorry I. Lokey Laboratories is a unique facility encased in bedrock, providing an optimal setting for research at the nanoscale. Interior glass walls allow observers to view research activities in progress. The new facility, a part of the Integrated Science Complex, located beween Deschutes and Huestis Hall, on the University of Oregon campus, is a signature research center associated with the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (ONAMI).
