On Sunday, April 6th, 55 alumni from the Northern California area met at the Ferry Building in San Francisco, CA, to board a shuttle bus en route to Napa Valley.  The trip featured a personal tour guide taking alumni and friends through the history of beautiful wine country. The shuttle bus provided the perfect opportunity for alumni to mingle with one another and share their UO stories.

The first stop was at the V. Satturi winery where alumni were treated to a picnic lunch from their famous Italian deli, followed by wine tasting. Next up, was a trip to Andretti Winery, owned by famed race car driver Mario Andretti, where alumni received a private wine tasting on the beautiful lawns. The day ended with a trip to Kirkland Ranch winery. It was the perfect place to end the tour after a private wine tasting. Alums were able to enjoy the beautiful view and landscape on a very clear and sunny day. When the bus returned to the Ferry Building later that day, several alumni were still mingling and making plans to have dinner that night with some of their fellow alumni they had met that day!
