Word is spreading all over Portland that the University of Oregon is preparing to move to Old Town and TriMet’s MAX light rail system is helping carry the news. A variety of MAX trains are outfitted with messaging denoting that the UO is “Flocking to Old Town, January 2008.” With redevelopment of the White Stag block well underway, the new campus promises to be a friendly gathering pond for Ducks of all sorts including students, alumni and friends. And, with MAX stations right nearby, it will be easier than ever to get to class on time!
