| A Queen Among Us |
Before she was even enrolled in the University of Oregon, a 16-year-old high school junior from Cleveland High School in Southeast Portland studied in the classrooms of Allen Hall as part of The Oregonian's High School Journalism Workshop annually held at the School of Journalism and Communication. Now a 19-year-old finishing her freshman year in college, Grace Neal is a polished, eloquent young woman also completing her reign as Portland's Queen of Rosaria.

| White Stag Block, neighborhood taking new shape |
The University of Oregon’s new Portland digs are a few steps closer to a grand opening. Work is underway to house UO programs in the White Stag Block by spring 2008. The structure, at 70 N.W. Couch St., is made up of the White Stag Building and portions of the adjacent Bickel and Skidmore buildings.
