OEMBA Announces Format/Schedule Changes

Starting September 2016, OEMBA is introducing a new schedule. Classes will take place twice a month on back-to-back Fridays and Saturdays. On Fridays, class will start at 1:00 p.m. and run until 8:00 p.m.

The OEMBA Speakership Program hosted Ellen Schmidt-Devlin (Class 26) this past May. Schmidt-Devlin is the director of the UO’s new Sports Product Management Program. Schmidt-Devlin shared various insights about the sports product industry and the Sports Product Management Program with the approximately 50 student and alumni attendees. Gus Van Sant, homeless youth and the OEMBA? No, this isn’t a riddle; rather it’s the interesting intersection at which alumnus John Duke has resided every day for the past 26 years. As the director of clinic and health services for Outside In, John brings classic business principles and social enterprise together to provide medical, mental health, and supporting services to Portland’s homeless youth population.
