Duck Alumni Tailgates

By UO Student Lili Wagner

What’s the best way to spend a Saturday in the fall? Watching your favorite football team with friends, family, and fellow fans, of course! This year, the UOAA is hosting Duck Alumni Tailgates for every home game, and invites Ducks to join them for tailgates in Palo Alto and Seattle, too.

At home, prepare for Oregon to take on Eastern Washington, Georgia State, Utah, Washington State, California, USC, and Oregon State. With more than 60,000 fans in the stands, Autzen Stadium is one of the loudest college football venues in the country. Not to mention, the Ducks aren’t too bad at football, so the excitement on game day in Eugene is palpable.

On the road, prepare for two huge games at Stanford and Washington. In 2014, the Ducks avenged 2013’s bitter loss to the Cardinal, but this year Stanford will try to settle the score, only this time with home field advantage. Meanwhile, the Ducks maintain more than a decade of dominance over the Washington Huskies, a streak they hope to continue through 2015. Get pumped for these must-see games with the UOAA.

The Duck Alumni Tailgate includes a catered meal, an array of beverage choices (beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks), live-music, and guest appearances by the Oregon Cheerleaders, among others. Guests can enjoy all of this and a great location at home, directly across from Autzen Stadium.

Full season passes and single tailgate tickets are available to both UOAA members (at discounted rates!) and non-members. Don’t miss the season opener against the Eastern Washington Eagles, Saturday, September 5.
