UO License Plate

You wear green and yellow, throw your O, and sing "Mighty Oregon" at the top of your lungs. Now there’s another way for you to display your Duck pride—the new University of Oregon license plate. Ducks in Oregon can now order the distinctive new plate, and will soon be able to show off their love for the university while driving around our great state.

Every purchase supports UOAA Presidential scholarships, the UOAA Board of Directors scholarship, and scholarships funded by our chapters, meaning the license plates don’t just look distinctive and stylish—they also help talented young students attend the UO.

You can be one of the first to own the new plate by purchasing a voucher. As soon as 3,000 vouchers are sold, the plates will go into production and you will be notified when your plate is available at the DMV.

About the Design

The image, showing the Duck at the center of green ripples spreading outward, represents the impact that Ducks have on the world around them. The plates were designed by Tinker Hatfield, BArch ’77, Nike’s vice president for design and special projects and an icon of the design industry. Your car could now boast a license plate designed by the same Duck responsible for Nike’s legendary Air Jordan line and the University of Oregon's iconic "O."
