One Duck unknowingly helped Henry Ford create a summer pastime. One helps refugees from the Middle East get resettled. One teaches budding sportswriters to avoid clichés like the plague. Read their stories, and more, in June’s enews.

UO Alumni Enewsletter

Information to keep you connected

We don't like to brag (just ask our fans dues-paying members), but we're rather fond of our electronic alumni newsletter. After all, one of its stories did win an international award in 2016, which we think is kind of a big deal.

Sent to all alumni six times per year, our e-news keeps Ducks up to date about the UO and UOAA events, and showcases alumni and students. If you’re not receiving your copy, make sure that we have your current e-mail address by updating your information.

We are always looking for interesting stories about what our Ducks are up to; if you know of a great story, we want to hear from you.

And if you want to know which Duck is responsible for the legendary rock band Kiss, which 2016 alumna discovered just the third-known binary black hole system in the universe during her senior year, which world-famous singer followed up his 1997 platinum album with a 2004 molecular biology degree, or which former quarterback—the only Duck drafted No. 1 overall in the NFL—lost his job twice to future Hall of Famers, you're going to have to start reading our back issues below.
