Meet Our Presenter

Lisa PoliakLisa Poliak, BA ’97 (international studies) loves helping her clients succeed, whether through getting into their top-choice college or landing the job of their dreams.

Before founding Inner Genius Prep in 2009, she received her MFA in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College and worked as a writer and editor, primarily in educational publishing. She then transitioned to the test-prep world, working for a high-end tutoring company in Beverly Hills.

While the company she worked for continuously profiled some of her students as “lazy”, Poliak knew she could improve their outcomes. She founded Inner Genius with the belief that everyone has an inner genius within them that needs to be activated and encouraged in order for them to reach their full potential.

Today, Poliak uses her holistic approach to personal growth with a wider range of clients to empower them to present their best selves and achieve their goals.
