Tune in to an online panel discussion featuring UO alumni Gloria Foxman, MBA ’21, and Justin Bean, BS ’04 (sociology), along with UO School of Law Professor Greg Dotson. The panelists will discuss the state of the climate tech industry and the rapid changes occurring at the intersection of environmental policy, technology, and business. As a result of the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the US is entering a once-in-a-lifetime investment in clean tech. Professor Dotson, who helped author both laws, will share how this legislation represents the nation’s strongest action to date to address climate change. Alumnus Nick Macilveen, BA ’00 (public relations), will serve as panel moderator and take questions from the audience.
