Virtual Happy Hour–Networking Break (MAY)

Join us on Thursday, May 21, from 4:00–5:00 p.m. PT to participate in a virtual networking happy hour. It's called "virtual" because conversations take place online via an instant messaging platform—there's no need to travel!  These one-hour sessions are designed to allow you to network ANYWHERE with Ducks in your career field EVERYWHERE, from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere you have internet access and a browser. 

The University of Oregon alumni network spans the entire globe and includes leaders of business, industry and the community. Tap in to this network to benefit from and contribute to our community's collective wisdom.

May Theme "Rooms:"  1) Accounting, Finance, and Management, and 2) Sports and Lifestyle Brands

Once you sign-on during the live event, you can either stay in just one "room," or you can choose to go between the virtual rooms and meet people interested in both career areas.

Participating in virtual networking will help you build your real-life networking skills and grow your contacts! Start your conversations online, and then move the discussion to email, a phone call, Skype, or an in-person meeting with those you choose.
