This fall, UO alumni are coming home to Oregon.
From reunions and alumni weekends to Homecoming and Fall Family Weekend, autumn is an incredible time to reconnect with the University of Oregon’s Eugene campus and catch up with fellow Ducks.
For the classes of 2015, 2016, and 2017, it’s time to flock home for the 10-Year Reunion, happening October 8–10. Alumni from across the country are traveling to Eugene to soak in campus life, catch up with friends, and celebrate the journey.
Larryn Zeigler, BS ’17 (political science), is headed north from LA for the reunion weekend. A decade after graduation, he works as an associate attorney and serves on the UO Black Alumni Network board.
"I'm looking forward to our 10-Year Reunion because it's an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, build new connections with fellow alumni, and celebrate how far we've come,” he said. “Coming from Los Angeles, choosing UO meant stepping into something completely new, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. Ten years later, it feels good to come back to Eugene, show appreciation to a community that gave me so much, and find ways to give back."

In addition to wandering campus and hanging out with classmates, the 10-Year Reunion will offer the chance to Duck into class (no homework this time), tailgate before the Oregon vs. UCLA game, and tour the Knight Campus’s brand new, second building.
Emily Gonzalez, BA ’16 (general social science), said she’s excited to feel the nostalgia of being a UO student.
"From walking around campus and seeing what’s changed, to attending the football game, sitting in on lectures, and simply being surrounded by fellow Ducks again—I know it’s going to be so good for my spirit. There’s something so special about coming back to a place that holds so many memories,” she said.

UO alumni are invited to reconnect with campus during reunions. The 10-Year Reunion offers a tour of the new Knight Campus building.
The Oregon Alumni Band throw their "O"s at Autzen Stadium. The Oregon Marching Band Reunion Weekend includes the opportunity to perform on game day.
In addition to the 10-Year Reunion, Ducks are reconnecting with their UO experiences at the Oregon Law Alumni Weekend, ASUO Alumni Weekend, UO Black Alumni Network Tailgate, Oregon Marching Band Reunion Weekend, and Native Duck Nation Tailgate.
Plus, Homecoming weekend, October 30–November 1, offers a time for Ducks of every experience and generation to come together at favorite events like the Homecoming Pep Rally and Run, Walk, & Roll with the Duck.
No matter the event you’re attending or where you’re traveling from, Oregon welcomes alumni home with vibrant autumn colors, a light drizzle (but never in Autzen Stadium), and the warmth of the Duck community.
"Eugene has this distinct energy that never really leaves you,” said Trent Warren, BS ’15 (journalism). “I’m ready to head back, see our favorite spots, and hear where life has taken everyone.”

So when is my class reunion?
Are you feeling FOMO reading about the 10-Year Reunion? The UO Alumni Association also offers 25-Year and 50-Year Reunions! Classes of 2001, 2002, and 2003—save the date for your 25th reunion happening fall 2027. Classes of 1977, 1978, and 1979—your 50th reunion is slated for fall 2028.
