UO faculty member Jan Zach was commissioned to sculpt "Lady" by friend Inacio Peixoto, but he passed away before he could complete his work. Jerry Harpster, MA '70, MFA '80, a former student of Zach's, finished "Lady" and donated it to the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. In August, "Lady" became the latest work of art to be installed on the UO campus, finding a new home between Prince Lucien Campbell and Condon halls.
