Freshman Danielle Michaud has been an inspiration for many to give back to Children’ Miracle Network and join the cause alongside UO Miracle

As the Morale Captain for the University of Oregon Student Alumni Association, Michaud has raised over $1,000, successfully helping the SAA reach its goal of $1,300.

During her senior year at Churchill High School, Michaud began her involvement with CMN through an event called Mr. Lancer where she saw 10 senior boys come together for this cause. It was then when she decided that she was going to support CMN for the years to come.

When asked what really captivated her about working with CMN, she explained, “The organization in itself and the work they do is so inspiring. Also the people involved, like Alexa Sharp is the director and [the program coordinator] John Esa…they are so great to work with and such amazing people that it makes you just want to get involved”.

Michaud hopes to be on the executive leadership team in the future. For now, Michaud enjoys uplifting others and helping CMN kids in the Eugene/Springfield area. You can catch Michaud at this year’s ElectrO event at the EMU Ballroom January 25, 2014.
