The University of Oregon Distinguished Young Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have achieved significant accomplishments within fifteen years of graduation and before their fortieth birthday.

The award was originally named the Outstanding Young Alumni Award and was created in 1984. The award reads: "In recognition of outstanding professional achievement and personal dedication to their community." Nominations are solicited by the UOAA, and the recipient is selected by a committee comprised of university staff, members of the community and the UOAA.
