Can't attend, but want to donate? Match Challenge is back!

Last year, ‘70s-era Oregon rowing alums issued a challenge. If the Blade Raise reverse auction at the fundraising dinner raised $10,000, the ‘70s decade alums would match, donating $10K. And they did!

The challenge is back, but this year it’s open to all eras of UO rowing alums, particularly for those who cannot make it to the 3rd Annual Friends of Oregon Rowing Fundraising Dinner on April 6.  It's a great way to participate in the support of our Oregon rowing teams.  We are asking all folks who can not attend the dinner join us in raising $10,000! We will then challenge the attendees to match that amount! Help us reach our goal and donate now. Then send us an email letting us know you can't attend but have donated to the matching challenge.

At the start of the Blade Raise on April 6, the Match Challenge will be announced and serve as an incentive for attendees to respond during the bidding.

Place your match challenge donation with the app by April 4.  Our match will help motivate alums to strengthen support for the team.

Donations help fund coaches' stipends, boathouse improvements, and operating expenses for the teams. Past contributions have constituted a substantial portion of the team’s revenues.
