Being a UOAA member keeps me connected to the University of Oregon in a meaningful and lasting way. Through PDX Ducks and my involvement on the UOAA board, I’ve expanded my network and been able to volunteer my time mentoring current UO students—especially accounting students—as they prepare for their careers. I’m especially proud to help manage the PDX Ducks scholarship fund and support Portland‑area students. The most rewarding part is building community while giving back.
