  Email Amber Lyons

Amber's long career history in project management began at the University of Oregon where as an undergrad she worked as the assistant to the associate director of Residence Life in University Housing. Raised in Oregon State Beaver territory in Lebanon, Oregon, Amber graduated from the UO in 2012 with a degree in psychology and went on to hold several positions in marketing before joining the UOAA team in 2019 where she is the association’s project coordinator.

At the UOAA, Amber's passion for learning new software skills and her efficiency, strong work ethic, and collaborative skills are a huge asset to the team. Her favorite part of the job is working with students and some of the best advice she’s received is to work smarter not harder and only maintain relationships with people who push you to be the best version of yourself.

When not in the office, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, their rescued shih tzu, Tilly, and their family and friends. She also has a passion for reading, watching Formula 1 racing, and supporting the National Hockey League’s New Jersey Devils.
