Gibbs joined the UOAA in November 2022, where she supports regional chapters and manages relationships with volunteers. One of her favorite parts of her job at the UOAA is how kind and supportive her colleagues and volunteers are. 

Prior to joining the UOAA, Gibbs worked in K-12 education and was a middle school teacher in the L.A. public school district. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA with her bachelor’s degree in Korean studies and education studies. 

Outside of work, Gibbs enjoys working on her functional ceramicware small business, Yonggi, spending time with her family, traveling, and looking for good boba in L.A.
