Megan creates and drives initiatives to help engage and empower UO alumni in the collective process of career networking, professional advice-giving, and career advancement.
Megan earned a BFA in art education and a Master's in liberal arts from Texas Christian University. Prior to joining the UOAA, Megan was employed by TCU as the program manager for the undergraduate honors program in the Neeley School of Business. It was during this time that Megan’s passion for working within the university system grew, believing it was where she could have a genuine impact in the lives of others. Megan has held previous positions as an elementary school art teacher and as a client relations coordinator for a top-rated animal hospital, each significant professional experiences in her home state of Texas, where she poured her energy into education and building relationships with her community.
Megan believes in working hard to make a difference and never passing up an opportunity to help someone; these values guide Megan in her role. But when she's not exercising those values in the office, she enjoys hiking among Oregon's natural beauty and capturing the state's diverse nature through her photography. Megan also likes spending time with her two cats, Mischa and Spirit, and catching up on reading her ever-growing collection of suspense novels.
