Rachel joined the UOAA in September 2024 as the Alumni Relations Assistant. She has over eight years of customer service experience, spanning across the healthcare, retail, and hospitality industries. In Rachel’s current role, she enthusiastically serves the Duck community in all stages of flight and provides support for the invaluable work of the UOAA team.   

Prior to earning her bachelor's degree in English Literature and Cinema Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, Rachel lived in California, Vermont, and New Hampshire. She feels as though Oregon is a blend of her favorite pieces of her past homes, so she jumped at the chance to make the move to Eugene with her cat, Teddy, and become an “Adopted Duck.” 

Community, empathy, and creativity are driving forces in Rachel’s life. These values are reflected in her work with the UOAA, as well as in her free time, where you can find her reading and writing in coffee shops, exploring stunning PNW landscapes with friends, or attending local concerts and art shows.
