Shannon Rose-Peterson, CG ’18

Director, Alumni Initiatives

Shannon joined the UOAA in 2013 as the executive assistant and constituency manager. Over the years, she has contributed to nearly every area of the organization and now serves as the Director of Alumni Initiatives. In this role, Shannon oversees a wide range of programs including virtual faculty lectures, alumni awards, fan travel experiences, alumni band reunions, and the alumni travel program—along with as many of the UOAA’s fun and engaging initiatives as she can get her hands on.

Through her diverse experiences, Shannon has cultivated a deep belief in the power of community, curiosity, and courage, values that continue to guide her work and inspire meaningful connections among Ducks near and far.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in international political economy from Carthage College, a master’s in political science from Loyola University Chicago, and a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Oregon. A native Michigander and PNW transplant, Shannon enjoys skiing, dancing, hiking, eating Italian food, and exploring Oregon’s natural beauty with her family and friends.
