Seattle Ducks

Originator of the Duck Biz Lunches, the Seattle Ducks are active in connecting local alumni for networking and social events. Past events include watch parties, tailgate parties, and freshmen send-offs. The chapter also hosts an annual silent auction and reception, Celebrate Oregon, to benefit a scholarship fund for Washington-area students attending the UO.

With a gift of more than $425M from Connie (BS ’84, journalism) and Steve Ballmer, the University of Oregon announced the launch of The Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health, a bold new effort to address the behavioral health needs of children and youth through teaching, research and clinical applications informed by community needs.
