Fostering Relationships with UO Veterans
The UOVAN serves to foster a strengthened sense of community amongst veteran and disabled veteran alumni and the University of Oregon:
- Provide and promote opportunities for veteran and disabled veteran alumni to grow personal and professional networks, empower and provide support for current UO veteran and disabled veteran students through mentorship and endowment of scholarships
- Acknowledge the service, disabilities, sacrifices, contributions, and struggles while celebrating the accomplishments of veteran and disabled veteran alumni
- Support efforts to recruit and retain a diverse and inclusive group of veteran and disabled veteran faculty, staff, and students.
