The University of Oregon Distinguished Alumni Award is bestowed upon alumni of the university who have attained extraordinary distinction in their chosen professional fields or by personal endeavor. This award, which began in 1967, was originally presented by the UO Alumni Association.
Nominations are solicited by the UOAA, and the recipient is selected by a committee comprised of university staff, members of the UO community, and the UOAA.
