Kanealii Ngosorio

Kāneali‘i Ng-Osorio earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the UO in 1998. He is now an enterprise business analyst for Kamehameha Schools, serves on the board of directors for the UO Alumni Association, and is the Hawaii Ducks regional UOAA chapter president. Kāne shares what motivates him to stay so involved supporting current and future Ducks, along with advice for current students and recent graduates.
 


 

A career committed to advocacy

Darrell Rico Doss, JD ’95, recently made the move from Capitol Hill to General Motors. He looks back on the last nearly three decades of advocacy work, including navigating the financial crisis of 2007–08, serving as Congressional Black Caucus policy director, and working in the Japanese government.

ERICKA WARREN, BA ’92 (Asian studies), MBA ’19 (general business), received an Oregon Women of Vision award from the Portland-based Daily Journal of Commerce for being a leader in the construction industry whose technical skills, mentoring, and community involvement is shaping the future of the industry and the city.

STEPHEN GILLETT, BS ’98 (political science), was appointed to the board of directors of Dutch Bros. Coffee, the West Coast-based drive-through beverage company.

PAUL G. DIXON, MArch ’99, was appointed state printer at the California Department of General Services, where he has served as assistant deputy director of operations at the facility management division since 2018.

BOB BASICH, MS ’56 (general studies), who died in 2000, received a posthumous 2022 Distinguished Alumni award from Saint Martin’s University in Washington for a life of public service that included six terms in the state House of Representatives.

TIM CLEVENGER, BS ’93 (journalism: advertising), former executive director and board member of the UO Alumni Association, was hired as senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Portland-based OnPoint Community Credit Union.

SARA GOODRUM, BS '15 (human physiology), was promoted to minor league hitting coordinator for the Milwaukee Brewers, making her the first woman to hold that position in a Major League Baseball organization, the team said.
