Jadi Campbell

My collection of short stories The Trail Back Out was named Winner in the category of General Fiction of the 2023 San Francisco Book Festival. This is the sixth award distinction for my book. It was also selected as 2020 American Book Fest Best Book Award Finalist Fiction Anthologies, 2021 IAN Book of the Year Award Finalist (Short Story Collection), 2021 Top Shelf Award Runner-Up, and 2021 Wishing Shelf Red Ribbon. The title story was longlisted for the 2021 Screen Craft Cinematic Short Story Award.

Pamela Holfert Collins Forrester, BS 1964 (art education), passed away in Bend on July 6, 2021 at the age of 79.
In the Salem area and elsewhere around the state, Pam taught school, worked in state government and in the advancement of fine and performing arts. Her many passions included dogs, politics, gardening and reading books
She is survived by her husband, Mike Forrester, BA 1960 (political science) and her three sons, Daniel Collins of Eugene, BA 1992 (Spanish); Timm Collins of Bend, BA 1996 (English) and Mike Collins of Kirkland, Washington, BA 1997 (fine arts) as well as her two grandsons.
