Susan joined the UOAA in 2014. She is now the senior associate director of alumni engagement where she oversees the UOAA's team working with affinity and professional groups, student and recent graduate programs, and manages the UOAA scholarship program.

Susan has a long history of engaging Ducks, having worked as a resident assistant with University Housing for three years as a student at the UO. After getting her bachelor’s in psychology and sociology in 2009, Susan went on to become a US Peace Corps Volunteer, working in a non-governmental health organization in South Africa. Eventually, she returned to the UO to work for the UOAA and get her master’s degree in nonprofit management in 2018.

The Wisconsin native married fellow UO alum Ben Ordonez and can now be found wine tasting throughout the Willamette valley and reading in her spare time.
