
The University of Oregon Alumni Association congratulates its new board president, Anthony Lambatos, BS ’04 (business administration, economics), and welcomes eight new directors. The board is responsible for overseeing and managing the association’s finances and advising the UOAA staff on how best to engage over 275,000 living alumni.
“Our new board members are an accomplished group, and I know we will all benefit from their guidance. The UO Alumni Association is in very good hands,” said UOAA Executive Director Raphe Beck.
The UOAA board maintains between 38 and 44 voting members and represents the broad diversity of UO alumni in all respects, including but not limited to age, class year, school, degree, and participation in various student and alumni programs.
Members of the board are UO alumni who have remained active with fellow alumni and/or students, or who have demonstrated a history of service to other communities.
Meet the new board president

Anthony Lambatos, BS ’04 (business, economics)
Denver, Colorado
A native of Denver, Anthony and his wife and business partner April run Footers Catering, as well as MIBE (“Make It Better Everyday”), a sister company that focuses on education around heart leadership and intentional culture building for the hospitality industry. As a student at Oregon, Anthony served as a peer advisor in the business school, was a member of the club ski team, and interned with University of Oregon Athletics. He is a past president of the Denver Ducks and served on that chapter’s board for 15 years. He has served on the UOAA board of directors since 2018.
Meet the new board members

Heather Goodpasture, BS ’89 (management, marketing)
Vida, Oregon
Heather Goodpasture owns and manages all aspects of a 100+ mobile home park. In addition, she works with her husband on their family hazelnut farm both as a farmhand and a payroll accountant. Heather participated in marching band all five years at the UO and has continued to be involved with the marching band. She plays with the Oregon Alumni Band and has served on the group’s board for the last several years. Heather is the proud mother of four children, two of whom graduated from the University of Oregon.

Max Green, BS ’20 (business administration)
Los Angeles, California
Max Green works in finance and strategy at Netflix, supporting general and administrative planning for the company’s global operations. Prior to Netflix, he held finance roles at Intel, Snapchat, and Block (formerly Square), partnering with teams across engineering, revenue, and executive leadership. While working full-time, Max earned his master’s degree in quantitative management and data analytics from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Passionate about giving back, he has spent the last four years volunteering as a mentor through economic empowerment nonprofits and supporting a variety of the UOAA’s Duck Career Network programming, to help create career readiness events for students and fellow alumni.

Joel Hood, BA ’99 (magazine journalism)
Chicago, Illinois
Joel Hood is an award-winning writer, communications strategist and former journalist who leads executive communications at the American Medical Association. A former reporter and editor at the Oregon Daily Emerald, Joel's journalism career included stops in Los Angeles, South Florida, and ultimately Chicago, where he has helped grow Oregon's alumni base in the Midwest as president and longtime board member of the Chicago Ducks chapter. He is the proud dad of a daughter who may be a future Duck.

Tim Kamp, BArch ’12 (architecture, art history)
Troutdale, Oregon
Tim Kamp is a senior workplace designer at Nike, with over a decade of experience in commercial architecture, workplace strategy, and brand design. Tim grew up in the Portland area and now resides in Troutdale, where he serves in nearby Gresham as the chair of the city's Planning Commission and a liaison to the Design Commission. His passion for volunteerism extends to his involvement with the Architecture Foundation of Oregon, American Institute of Architects Portland, and the UO Black Alumni Network board. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, running (he‘s a two-time marathoner), UO athletics, and spoiling his French bulldog, Franklin.

T.D. Malone, BA ’01 (public relations)
West Linn, Oregon
After a 20-year career as a logistics officer in the United States Army, T.D. Malone now leads Salesforce sustainment efforts at Sprezzatura Management Consulting, supporting a contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs. A member of the Army ROTC program and the Sigma Nu Fraternity at the UO, T.D. earned his MBA from Colorado State University. Outside of work, T.D. enjoys coaching youth sports and cheering on the Oregon Ducks. He and his wife—also a UO graduate—are the proud parents of three daughters.

Anjali Mishra, BS ’23 (sociology)
Palo Alto, California
Anjali Mishra is an undergraduate admission counselor at Stanford University. At the University of Oregon, she worked at the Holden Center for Leadership and Community Engagement to develop workshops, coordinate campus-wide service events, and manage the Emerging Leadership Project. She supported student success through First-Year Programs, was a Wayne Morse Scholar, and created a career readiness workbook for unhoused youth as a Provost Innovation Fellow. She has worked nationally as a Newman Civic Fellow and Giffords Courage Fellow. Anjali loves nature, music, and outdoor activities, and is a devoted mom to her cat, Jimi (named after Jimi Hendrix). She also serves on the board of the American Cetacean Society—San Francisco Bay chapter. Her younger sister now attends the UO too, making their family’s Duck run eight years strong!

Geri Naumcheff-Berg, BA ’88, MA ’90 (communication disorders & sciences)
Happy Valley, Oregon
Geri Naumcheff-Berg has worked in the cancer diagnostics and therapeutics space for 30 years and is currently a business development executive at Belay Diagnostics. While at the UO, she played intramural soccer, was on the Dean’s List, and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. Since graduating, she has remained involved with the university as a dedicated Ducks football fan, regional and chapter advisor for Alpha Phi Sorority, and a member and current board president of the PDX Ducks chapter. She is involved in her community of Happy Valley as chair of the city’s Parks Advisory Committee and vice chair of the Budget Committee. In addition, she is an active fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In June 2025, Geri celebrated her marriage to fellow Duck JP Berg, BA ’92, and together they look forward to new adventures as a married couple.

Sam Woodell, BS ’14 (accounting, economics)
Tigard, Oregon
Sam Woodell is a CPA and tax senior manager at Perkins & Company, Portland’s largest locally-owned accounting firm. He currently serves as treasurer on the board of the PDX Ducks chapter and previously held the same role with the Lane County Ducks. Sam is a member of the Lundquist College of Business’s Accounting Circle and has participated in School of Accounting Advisory Board meetings. At the UO, he was involved in Beta Alpha Psi, worked at the Lundquist College of Business computer lab, and interned at The Duck Store. He and his wife Rebecca (n&eacut;e Kistler), BS ’15 (business administration, psychology), live in Tigard, Oregon, with their chocolate lab and are expecting their first child in October 2025.
Lambatos and the UOAA also thank seven departing board members whose terms concluded on June 30, 2025, for their dedicated service to the UOAA:

Kayla Choate, BS ’24 (business administration), the board’s student representative, concluded her term in the fall of 2024.
