Kanealii Ngosorio

Kāneali‘i Ng-Osorio earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the UO in 1998. He is now an enterprise business analyst for Kamehameha Schools, serves on the board of directors for the UO Alumni Association, and is the Hawaii Ducks regional UOAA chapter president. Kāne shares what motivates him to stay so involved supporting current and future Ducks, along with advice for current students and recent graduates.
 


 

A career committed to advocacy

Darrell Rico Doss, JD ’95, recently made the move from Capitol Hill to General Motors. He looks back on the last nearly three decades of advocacy work, including navigating the financial crisis of 2007–08, serving as Congressional Black Caucus policy director, and working in the Japanese government.

Ariel Kelley, BS '05 (business administration), was voted one of North Bay Business Journal's Forty under 40 notable young professionals for 2019. She is acting CEO and board chair of nonprofit company Corazon Healdsburg.

Anthony Kuchulis, BA '05 (political science), has joined the Portland office of Littler, an employment and labor law practice representing management.

Levi Thane, BArch '05, has joined A & E Architects, a design firm with offices in Montana and Seattle, as an architect.

Former All-American Ducks footballer Max Unger, BS '08 (art), announced his retirement from the NFL after a 10-year career.

Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts, of the Pendleton area, has given Natalie Ball, BA '05 (ethnic studies, art), a 2019 Golden Spot residency award.

Eric White, BS '06 (economics), became a shareholder at Portland-based Meketa Investment Group.

Steven Laurie, MS '09, PhD '12 (human physiology), contributed to NASA's Twins Study, which helps scientists better understand the impacts of spaceflight on the human body through the study of identical twins.

HEIDI SCHRECK, BA '09 (English), is starring in an Amazon Prime series, What the Constitution Means to Me, based on her play of the same name.

Connie Atchley

Class of 2010
The Oregon Institute of Technology has appointed Connie Atchley, MS '10 (interdisciplinary studies: applied information management), to chief information officer and vice president of information technology services.

Hossein Peigahi

Class of 1964
Hossein Peigahi, BArch '64, returned to Eugene after practicing architecture for years in Washington, where he designed high schools, including Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma. He has displayed his art in the Bellevue Arts Museum and the Tacoma Art Museum.

ERIC JOHANSEN, BS '81 (geography), retired after 36 years as a financial advisor to Portland and other governments in Oregon, having assisted with the bond financing of major public capital projects.
